Analysing Innovation Awards

With the current rise of innovation in the facility management sector, it is important for companies to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends. As part of our work with a client, we were tasked with conducting a market research to identify all the innovation awards within the facility management sector in the Netherlands. Our goal was to explore how these awards are organized and what we can learn from them to improve the clients own innovation award, which has been organized for the fifth consecutive year.

Through our research, we identified a range of innovation awards that are organized within the facility management sector in the Netherlands. We delved into the specifics of each award to understand the nature of the award and how it is organized. We considered a variety of areas where innovation is taking place, including the use of artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR), as well as smart online products that incorporate technologies like mechatronics, robotics, big data, blockchain, or algorithms. We also explored innovations that prioritize the human touch, such as those that improve customer experiences or foster inclusivity in the workplace.

Our research uncovered valuable insights into the clients competition within the innovation awards space. By analyzing the award criteria, judging process, and award-winning projects, we were able to make recommendations for the clients own innovation award, identifying ways to differentiate and improve the award to better serve the needs of the facility management industry in the Netherlands.

We presented our findings and recommendations in a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation, outlining the key takeaways and insights we gained through our research. By conducting this market research, we were able to provide the client with the information they needed to stay ahead of the curve and ensure their innovation award remains relevant and valuable in the years to come.
