Analysing Potential Strategic Partners

With the current rise of the integration of SaaS applications in organizations, certain dynamics and roles might change. A company operating in the energy industry, is interested in building partnerships with other solution providers in this market. However, to decide which companies might be best for this, we were tasked with conducting desk research into the solutions they offer, their strategy, and the financial position of 20 companies. This information will help the client determine which companies are best for them to form partnerships with.

Our team was selected to perform this desk research because of our expertise in economic analysis, analytical skills, and ability to conduct accurate and detailed research. We were provided with a list of 10 companies and were expected to answer approximately 50 questions on each company, which could be obtained through desk research. The questions covered financial aspects, as well as the range of solutions and strategy of each company.

We conducted a thorough analysis of each company's positioning within the utility ecosystem and provided a strategic analysis based on the questions provided. Our research enabled us to determine the financial viability of each company, and we provided the client with a detailed analysis of the most important players in the energy ecosystem. This helped the client to identify the best partners for them to work with.

We created a separate document for each company, in which we summarized our findings and provided links to the sources of information. Our research was accurate, detailed, and reliable, and we worked collaboratively with the client to ensure that all necessary information was obtained. Moreover, we included real-time datapoints such as the companies' stock prices. The outcome of this project was a comprehensive analysis that provided the client with the insights they needed to make informed decisions about their partnerships within the energy industry.
